wer kennts wer kennts net? *g*
sehr schöner ambiente meiner meinung nach, ambiente von was hehe von industrial.

hier die offi Deutsch Nepal page.

bin zufaul das jetzt zu übersetzten oder selbst was zu schreiben

Deutsch Nepal started in 1990-91 as a result of years working together with people and therefore also years of compromises. Der General wanted to do sounds only appealing to himself the first release on the Cold Meat Industry sublabel SoundSource. It was a cassette called "Deflagration of Hell". The cassette was released in only 200 copies but at that time this was a large quantity.

Shortly after the first contacts with the Dutch label Staalplaat was established and they wanted to release the material on CD. It happened about a year later and during that time Mr. Karmanik at Cold Meat Industry found it intresting to release more material and in 1993 the second CD, "Benevolence" was released. The sound of this CD marked the path on which Deutsch Nepal was to continue and the sound was pitched down to a darker ambiental almost psycedelic and athmospheric music. Voices whisper like storm over ice in the dark, cold winter and in the far - drums echoing in trancing rituals.

This was also what you could find on the third CD, "Tolerance" released on Staalplaat 1994. The intrest for the music of Deutsch Nepal grew and it resulted in a tour together with In Slaughter Natives through Europe in May the same year, organized by Art Konkret (Germany) and Old Europa Café (Italy).

On the tour we passed Amsterdam on the way home and made a live-recordingsession on VPRO for a radioprogram, that later was released as another edition of the serial "Mort aux Vaches"-split-CD, with In Slaughter Natives, on Staalplaat the same year.

Old Europa Café released a cassette titled "Only Silence Among The Filthy" wich later was followed by another called "The Silent Earth". In the year 2000 this triology will be completed and the material is allready on it´s way to Italy. The cassette will be called "Behind A Wall of Silence"

There was a lot of minor releases during this time and it´s hard to recall all of them at this very moment but more essential labels to be mentioned are Tesco Organisation, NoiseMuseuM, Ant-Zen.

1996 was a year of travelling and live performances and it might seem like there was a period of non-activity but the truth was that it might have been the most active year since the start of the project. A lot of recordings where made.

As example the co-operation with the Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud and the first LP with Der General`s new project Frozen Faces -"Broken Sounds of A Dying Culture".

Also the first attempt to record the fifth CD was made and in 1997 it resulted in "Comprendido! Time Stop... And World Ending!"-CD on Cold Meat Industry. Comprendido!... was more harsh than the earlier works of Deutsch Nepal and it seem like Der General didn´t know what leg to stand on which made it necessary to make a decision of the direction to march in. The solution was to leave Deutsch Nepal as it was, and to put the harsher pieces on the Frozen Faces releases at first it was hard to see the difference but with the upcoming releases the fact will be more obvious.

During the summer -97 the recordings with Elisabeth &Albin from the Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud were supposed to continue. As Elisabeth didn´t have the possibility to come to Sweden did Albin and der General do some other recordings and of course a lot of drinking it resulted in the recently released 10" on WKN with der Blutharsch and Deutsch Nepal titled "Apocalyptic Climax"

the latest CD on Staalplaat -"Erosion" got a sound that might remind you of "Tolerance" but heading into even darker realms of the brain of Der General. An even more depressing sound than before ....some might wonder if it´s possible? Well, get your copy from Staalplaat and be convinced!!!

naja wie auch immer sehr schöne sache das neuste alb "a silent siege"
